Alexander was our waiter. He was so kind and attentive. I would have to say he gave us the best dining experience in Montenegro 🇲🇪. He explained us the menu, gave us some recommendations, helped us entertain our kid a bit, kept pouring water and tidying up the table for us. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic at the restaurant. The creamy green on the wall is very refreshing. We ordered one big seafood pot, and home made bread, shared by two adults. The kid had a pasta from kids menu. The seafood was fresh and tasty. There were crayfish, prawn, mussels and clams, in their special homemade sauce, a bit tangy and tomatoey. It was perfect to dip the bread in the sauce. I wish there were more prawns as most of them were crayfishes. The whole bill was £65, and I left some tips, as the staff was well deserved.

Was there in search of breakfast going from Muo (there is zero places). I was very happy to find a place so cozy in the shade of trees and behind an old stone wall (it was cool and secluded). As my wife and I were there in the morning we were given the breakfast menu. I was incredibly surprised and delighted to find their latte also delicious (before that, the only thing I found on the restaurant menu was cappuccino, which is actually something like americano with a drop of milk). We ordered eggs with sausages, and for dessert a croissant with jam and butter. I also liked the croissant served, as if I was somewhere in Paris, very nice and tasty! You can pay by card there. Latte cost 3 euros. Eggs with sausages 6 euros. Croissant 3 euros. We'll be back again!

We had a fantastic time here. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was the best seafood that I've ever eaten and the rest of our group said the same. And the wine selection, while marked up to $28, was a fantastic vintage to give the fish there final swim. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking great seafood in Kotor. Be warned, the portions are big. We split the "Seafood Platter for 2" among four of us and we got two Greek Salads. This was more than enough as we still could not finish the plate. Another night we ate the seafood pasta in red sauce which was also very good. If your in Kotor, do yourself a favor and eat here.

Truly the worst food we have ever eaten, inside or outside of a restaurant.

It is difficult to know where to start because there really is no positive angle to take. Despite the place being half empty, we watched as two tables that arrived after us be served three courses between them as we waited for our food. To add insult to injury, the table beside us were clearly known to the wait staff, who would rather stand and chat with them than offer anything resembling service.

Then, have mercy, the food arrives. We ordered the 18 hour braised beef with mashed potatoes and the seafood linguine. Each element of both dishes were the worst version of that thing we had ever consumed.

The beef: it was tough, it was dry, and it was grey. The only 18 hours this beef has seen were the last moments of joy it experienced before being forgotten about in the depths of the oven overnight. The sauce was gelatinous with three lonely carrot slices swimming around in it. The mashed potatoes were so clearly instant, powdered potatoes prepared with boiled water, taking away any hope for the plate's salvation.

The linguine: the pasta itself was soft, overcooked and had congealed into a claggy mass. The prawns were not fresh, but were hard and rubbery. The clams had not been cleaned and were full of enough sand to generously seep into the rest of the pasta rendering the dish inedible to all but the most forgiving mammals.

Then, the service. The girl that served us was pleasant, if a little disorganized and, again, more interested in fraternizing with the table next to us than doing a job. The other wait staff were, again, more interested in chatting among themselves than paying any attention to what was going on around them. This, combined with cooking that can only be described as diabolical, made for a sincerely dreadful experience.

Avoid. Eat literally anywhere else. We wish we'd got up and left in the 35 minutes it took for our food to come but, sadly, were too polite to do so or to return the mess that was put in front of us. At least it can't get any...

My partner and I were so happy and delighted to find such a wonderful spot for an excellent meal with kind staff, efficient service, DELICIOUS food, and a lovely view after working up a big appetite touring Kotor Bay. We happened upon it by chance and it ended up being the best meal we’ve had since we arrived in Montenegro over a week ago. Slow cooked beef, stuffed pork, salad and tuna tartare were all fresh, quality and full of great flavors.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen some whiny, overblown and quite frankly pathetically childish reviews of this place which seem excessively over dramatic and not at all deserving of this gem of a spot. We ate some of the same dishes which were poorly reviewed and I cannot imagine how anyone would take issue with this food or service unless they’re looking for attention or a handout. Too many people have a lot of time on their hands to waste on bringing others down.

Food is the love of my life and if you’re anything like me you will not be disappointed! 10/10...

eating outside the old walls is a very good idea. good food without the tourist price. found this restaurant on google map and managed to locate it. it was truly charming, as if we were in france, dining in a terrace garden glass house. slightly old rural vibe. waiter with a slightly pompousness as if he worked in france. introduced us to the tuna steak. we went for it coz we wanted to treat ourselves something different after all the grilled meats and octopus. was a bit skeptical until the dish came. it was really good and value for money as the tuna came fresh and chunky. heavenly in every bite. the pizza also didnt disappoint as the ham was full of flavour in a extreme thin slice. we had the time of our lives. slightly drunk and the 'pompous' waiter reminded us to tip. i truly felt like we were in a french movie which we loved to watch at home. SERVICE CHARGE IS ALREADY INCLUDED...... JUST LIKE THE FRENCH SYSTEM. 20%. TIP IS STH U CAN GIVE ON TOP IF U THINK SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL!!!...
