I go to DI MARIO so often — sometimes even every day of the week — because it’s right next to my work. The place is nice, the atmosphere is good, and most of the staff are welcoming. But unfortunately, I’ve had uncomfortable experiences more than once with one of the staff members when it comes to handling money.
The first time, he didn’t give me my full change. I went back and told him, and he said he “forgot” and gave it to me. I let it go. But another time, after visiting with friends and paying for everything, I came back alone and he told me we didn’t pay for three colas — days later. I honestly wasn’t sure anymore, but I told him this wasn’t the first time he did this. He kept insisting, didn’t give me a receipt for the colas, and only gave me the bill for what I ordered that day. It felt really off and unprofessional.
He kept repeating, “People forget,” but it didn’t sit right with me. I paid just to avoid problems, but I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly disappointed.
I love this place and go there regularly but stopped going there, because this one staff member’s behavior makes it hard to trust the payment process. Be careful with your money and always ask for...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and had an unsettling experience. While dining with my kids, I found a baby cockroach on our table. I tried to stay calm in front of them, but what made matters worse was the manager’s dismissive reaction. Instead of addressing the issue seriously, he reassured me with, “Don’t worry, it should be fine. There’s none in the kitchen.”
As I headed to the cashier to pay, I encountered another cockroach, confirming that the problem was far from isolated. The manager admitted they were “doing the treatment,” but in my opinion, this place should be closed until the infestation is fully resolved to ensure customer safety.
They didn’t let me pay, likely hoping I wouldn’t report the issue, but I insisted on getting a receipt as proof of my visit. This was a disappointing experience, and I hope the management takes immediate action to prioritize...
