Gotham — Restaurant in Agdal Riyad أكدال الرياض

I went to this place and it was empty with only about 3 tables occupied. The name and concept of this restaurant is AMERICAN yet their menu is only in the French language. Secondly, the waiter says no problem, I can translate this for you. Since it's my 1st time I asked him a lot and not even 1 minute passed and I could see he was getting impatient and tired, so I said go take care of more important things and he left gladly. Then nobody came to help me so I called their phone number and the lady who answered then said I will help you. She came over and took my order because I said I'll try the Benedict toast item since I understood the ingredients. Then the food was served. The poached eggs weren't poached and they were freezing as if they weren't fresh and stored in the fridge. The salad dressing was old and you could taste that it was stored from at least a week or so and was made of processed unhealthy ingredients. Then I got out of my table and asked for the lady to come back to tell her this. I explained to her and I said I think you're only good at making burgers, so may I try the Maharaj burger, and she replied by saying You will not like it!... HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW THAT I WILL NOT LIKE IT??!!? AND I GOT UP AND LEFT. (you make your decision if you want to come here and this is why I passed this place a 1000 times and...

C'est le pire , je ne recommande pas! اسءأ مطعم و اسوء تجربة Worst experience ever, Wanted to try the El Famoso Gotham but I was so disappointed ! The place is clearly overblown by people who’ve never had a decent burger… The patty tastes like nothing, the plastic like bacon was over-cooked, and the quantities are ridiculously low for what you pay. I went there for the first time, and I’m never planing on going back.

1. the burger was disgusting and tasted like plastic, the bun was not fresh at least 7 days old and the meat was so greasy and bland.
2. at least 3 tables were served before us eventhough we were there first
3. after waiting for 15 minutes the server told us that 2 of the 3 items ordered are not available anymore, and when I asked the manager he just replied that it's sunday and most ingrediants are no longer available, my only guess at the time was , are these people serving us food that was purchased a week ago ! MY ADVICE : DON'T GO ON SUNDAY OR ANY OTHER DAY.

3.0 Stars: Just revisited Gotham for the first time in 3 years and, wow, it did not have to fall off this hard. I’m almost sad because this used to be one of my favorite burgers. I’ll leave my old review below the new one for reference.

Bland. The food is so bland. I don’t know what’s to blame: Did I just have an overly romantic memory of it? Did something change in the leadership of the place? Or was this an isolated incident? This didn’t just not live up to "one of the best", it sucked. I’m sorry and I’m sad. Gotham, what happened? And did it happen to me or to you?
