Sky 28 in Casablanca is a standout spot for anyone looking to enjoy drinks with a view in an upscale setting. Perched on the 28th floor of the Kenzi Tower Hotel, it’s among the highest bars in the city, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Casablanca and the Atlantic Ocean. This makes it a prime location, especially at sunset or as the city lights come alive at night.
The ambiance at Sky 28 is sophisticated yet welcoming, with a sleek, modern interior that complements the stunning views. It’s a perfect place to unwind with friends, celebrate a special occasion, or just take in the skyline over a carefully crafted cocktail. Read moreI’m not one to write negative reviews and I’m pretty easy going when it comes to eating out, however I’m sharing our experience here in the hope that the staff/management might learn from our experience.
We came to the lounge on Sat Oct 13th to have dinner and enjoy a few drinks; we were told by the staff that 4-5 tapas plates would be enough for 4 people and we rolled with 6 dishes. After ordering though, we essentially stopped being attended to at all for at least 45 min before the food came (which felt like a really long time!), although at that point the lounge had quieted down to a handful of tables. Once served, we realised the serving sizes were definitely too small to feed the 4 of us and we were very keen to order more… Except no one came until we had to get up and ask for the bill, 30+ min later. Our empty plates sat on the table for the remaining time, we refilled our own wine glasses all the way until the bottle was empty.
When I politely told our waiter that we would have liked to order more and that we unfortunately could not tip them tonight for the type of service we got, he seemed to half-smile as if this wasn’t a surprise to him.
We left feeling hungry, disappointed and a little hacked, having just paid a generous amount for Casablanca’s standards and having received great service elsewhere during our 4-day stay in Casa.
On our way home, we came across a bar that offered us free tapas with a smile while we enjoyed affordable drinks… That felt like a win, though a...
Read morePlace is decent with a nice view however there is a bartender there with a terrible attitude. Couldn't figure if it was because I was black, but he sadly made my experience terribly unpleasant. I think his name was RAMSIS L. as thats what I saw on my receipt when i asked him to bring me the bill. Almost like he sized me up and the bill had a 10% tax which I've never been charged at any restaurant in Morocco. However i did not want to make a big deal about it. Not sure if its because he thought I was not going to tip since his service was terrible. When he brought the check, he initially told me i couldn't tip on my credit card and cash only. I still tipped though after i told him credit card was my only option and he came back and said he can run a separate transaction for the tip itself. Wanted to show him not to prejudge people or maybe change his stinky attitude. But the whole thing did not sit well with me for a few days and figured it was well deserved to write this review in an attempt to maybe help this place improve or have a serious conversation with this jerk. You can sadly tell he was on a serious power trip. Not sure if he is the one who runs this bar. Seems he was upset at the world for who knows what reasons and projected that on the customers at the bar. Very sad to see as the place has a nice view, some nice music. The food menu at night is very limited but i think thats understandable. Please have a conversation with this guy or he will...
