Les Deux Palais — Restaurant in Hassan حسان

I had a Salad Niçoise for 65 DH and a small slim can of coke for 15 DH. The salad was bad, the lettuce leaf's were not fresh, and was far below what we call it salad niçoise. The supervisor responded to my feedback stating that I am entitled to my view when I told him his salad does not much the expectations. Accidently, I knocked a small glass on my table. Despite I apologised to the next table, the two ladies looked at me in unfriendly way with no smile or a word. Again, this made me feel that the type of Moroccans who attend this restaurant are arrogant. The waiter was still expecting tips when it took me 3 times to remind him of the broken glass. Instead of him dealing with it, he was only able to comment on his servant(the cleaner ) who missed a piece of glass. The single customer on table opposite me with a bottle of champagne at lunchtime. again no one seems to smile. Bizarre atmosphere that is...

Decent food, staff that is in charge of the couples side of the restaurant ( red small tables ) is bad, the woman that answers the calls when we wanted to get our seats was also rude and could’ve explained better over the phone, the manager needs to keep the staff on check, they just ignore most of the time, (again im only speaking about the people that work on the inside), staff that works in the side that is close to the door is great and respectful. UPDATE AFTER THE RESTAURANT’s response: This respnse only proves my point, the customer service is very bad and if i’m wrong and there is no couples side, then blame that on the waiter that told me its a couples side and 4 people cant sit there, please take the review and criticism as it is and work on what needs to be worked on instead of just assuming i am stupid and can’t figure out what restaurant...

We didn’t have the greatest experience here unfortunately. The food was very good, however we waited for more than an hour for our food to arrive. We were there later in the afternoon, around 2:30, so it wasn’t all that busy. I have no idea why it took so long but they said it was an error with the kitchen. The atmosphere is beautiful and the restaurant was recommended to us by a friend so we were hoping to have a memorable experience. We asked where our food was (in French) several times and we were just about to leave without eating (after an hour and 15 mins) when our food finally arrived. It was a hot day and there were no fans so we were quite hot and unhappy at that point. We ate quickly and left. It is a beautiful place but if you’re in a hurry it’s probably best to look for...
