American here. My girlfriend and I pushed our way into the bar. Got a lot of stares from the Moroccan men because women + bar is doubly taboo. Nonetheless, the bar tender was cool and served us straight away. After 10 minutes, the locals warmed up to us and tried to conversate. We bought a round, they bought a round, then bar food was bought and shared (fruit slices; pares, bananas, oranges). Overall, highly recommend if you're looking for a local spot. Just put your camera away and be friendly.
