Mood Restaurante & Bar — Restaurant in Maputo

Went once and the food was good, the price fair and the people very welcoming.

I will go back there and probably review my rating after.

Reasons why I am not giving a 5 star:

I longed for a good cheesecake and I heard that the ones made here are good. However, after I specifically asked for it as a dessert even before choosing the main course, it was only after I was done with the main course that they informed me that the cheesecake was not yet ready.

I went only once (would have to try a few more options from the menu).

Otherwise it is a very comfortable place for either lunch or dinner, alone or with a group of friends.

Horrible experience!

I went with a group of old university colleagues and we had a reservation for 16:00 and the manager was not pleased with the fact that some people had not arrived. We explained that the majority of people had arrived but she was really really rude with us even asked us to leave because she had a reservation. The restaurant was not even 1/3 full. After some arguing we managed to stay, when the food arrived we realized that we should have accepted to leave the restaurant when she asked us to leave. I feel the kitchen rushed to cook our meal as the food we ordered was half cooked. We also booked for 20 people and guaranteed our table with mzn10k. Even though we spent more than the guaranteed amount the restaurant wanted to charge us extra because we were less than 20. This is after we gave up our extra seats to be used by other guests.
