This place hands down serves one of the best korean food and cakes in town & iam not even exaggerating. They have 2 location conveniently placed in baneswor and newly opened branch in lazimpat right on the alley of shangri-la hotel. I managed to visit both restaurants and the taste is very consistent. I'd recommended the fish cakes in clear soup, ramen, kimbabs are moist and fresh, sides are elaborated and different from any othe korean places. The stir fried pork (forgot the korean name) has been my new favourite. Order your kimchi pancakes extra crispy and thank me later. The dessert cakes are a must try too. I personally love their matcha sponge cake & Carrot cake with cream cheese frost. Carrot cake had a nice touch of cinnamon and candied orange garnish on it.Chocolate tart is very nice too. The sea salt brings out the deep chocolate flavor. They really know thier game ;) Cheese cake is one of the best seller..so order it before it's sold out. All their desserts are house made and has a very moderate amount of sugar on it in a good way & so the taste are not over powering at all. It's has a perfect balance of east asian flavors. I also tried the hongkong iced tea and it's very refreshing. Ordered a black coffee too. They use Cimbali machine so they nailed it on that too. Basically everything is perfect in this place. Would visit again with friends for brunch :)
Ps- they are on foodmandu delivery app. The restaurant has car park and...

Read moreI recently visited Soul Cafe with high expectations after hearing about it from various social media platforms.I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The small restaurant has a limited menu, and you need to self-order. When I went, there was only one person doing all the work, and I had to wait for 45 minutes for my food. The worst part was the cheese tteokbokki, which was watery, and the cheese wasn't melted properly. The bibimbap was also dry and cold, which made it a bad experience overall. However, the portion was pretty good. I shared my experience with friends who told me that the service and food quality has degraded since the customer base has increased. I hope Soul Cafe can get back to the same quality of food and service they were once known for. Unfortunately, based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend this...
