Booked this hotel 15mins. Score arrival as a result of bad weather closing the Kathmandu airport and Pokhara Airport.||||Walkable from airport but as it was raining got a fixed price taxi from just outside the domestic terminal arrivals exit.||||As reported by another reviewer there is no lift but this was not an issue as the staff member carried my bag up to the first floor room after I was checked in.||||Large room with tea and coffee making facilities, table and two chairs and two beds. Mini bar was stocked with drinks.||||Bathroom had complimentary toiletries.||||The only issues I encountered was some noise from doors closing and other guests from the hallway area but this was only for a short time in the evening.||||Tucked away down a side street so no street noise from the busy Main Street.||||I ate at the hotel for breakfast and I also had a nice toasted chicken sandwich and chips the afternoon before.||||They currently do not have any cakes or pastries but there are nearby shops including the Himalayan Java Coffee shop chain .||||Good tourist hotel for layovers or early morning or late...

The rooms are incredibly spacious, spotless, and well-designed – the kind of place that makes you want to stay in and just relax. The service is truly 5-star – attentive, professional, and always one step ahead of your needs.
The vibe of the whole hotel is so calm and welcoming – modern but cozy. Plus, it's in a fantastic location, super close to the airport, which makes it so convenient for travelers.
And a big shoutout to the staff – genuinely warm, helpful, and always smiling. They made the whole experience feel personal and extra special.
Honestly, Hotel Bayberry exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Clean rooms, great food, amazing service, top location – everything is perfect

Read moreRead moreAbsolutely recommended - Great, new and clean hotel close to the airport (and also Bhaktapur, Buddha Stupa, etc...). We stayed there 4 times while traveling through Nepal using KTM as a hub. They keep luggages for trekkers without extra cost. It is the cleanest and quietest hotel we stayed at in Kathmandu, and therefore our "safe place" to always go back to in between adventures for a good rest. The staff is amazingly friendly (they took very good care of us), the food is great and the coffee too 😊. Comfy bed, good amenities, spacious room with A/C and Smart TV...everything you need is there and they even weighed our luggages before leaving. The only "ps" would be that the bathroom has no shower glass (as it's common in ktm), but you can...
