It's so nice place to visit. Visiting with kids is also fine. After the entrance to the museum compound, there will be an announcement for to be in que for boarding. When your group number is announced, stand in a que and ready to enter the aviation museum. There is a short documentary about the introduction of the museum and the work of captain Mr. Bed Upreti, the founder of the museum. Mr. Upreti has already established his first aviation museum in Dhangadhi, Kailali. The Turkish Air which crash landed in Kathmandu is used for the museum in kathmandu. It has used very perfectly. There are various aircraft models displayed which are used in the world. Model of Right brothers craft is also there. Visitors could enjoy the cockpit by dressing up as pilot and get pictured. On the rear side of the craft is a canteen for cold drinks, tea and coffee. Dresses of Pilot and air hostess are available to get pictured. But have to pay for that. It has a big premise with historical pictures of different aircraft taken by capt. Bed Upreti during his flights. There is a nice arrangement for the kids to enjoy. Playing materials and hubs are there. Its nice to go with family and pass 3-4 hours there. An abandoned helicopter is placed near the toilet. Kids enjoy getting the pilot seat and simulating the flight.
