I recently revisited a hidden gem of a Newari bhatti in Lalitpur after 16 years, and it felt like stepping into a time capsule. Nothing has changed—the sitting arrangements, earthy decor, and cozy ambiance remain exactly as I remembered. The food, however, was the highlight, with their Anda Chiura Fried, buff kurkure haddi, and chyang delivering the same authentic, top-notch flavors as before. The fried Anda Chiura was perfectly seasoned and fluffy, the kurkure haddi was crispy outside and tender inside with a bold, tangy kick, and the refreshing sweetness of the cold chyang tied everything together beautifully. The service was prompt and welcoming, reflecting a dedication to preserving tradition and quality. It's a local favorite to be. Egg fried with beaten rice and buff chilli is my go to thing. The buff chilli is really thinly sliced along with that spicy mix served hot is something that makes me visit again.

They have shifted the kitchen to inside and since it might be just few seater people adjust to eat at the place which is really nice. I don't visit this place for atmosphere but for food.
