Very good budget hotel. Rooms are clean, dated, but it's a budget hotel at very cheap rates) abs the location is very convenient with many stores and restaurants nearby.
I had several requests during my day with reception and gate staff and no request was too much inconvenience. Made my stay here feel like I was staying at a luxury hotel.

Read moreHotel Clarion comprises a small three storied building on the main road in Jawalakhel, Kathmandu. The place looks like a modification of a residential house. There is a bustling and noisy road outside. Rooms are of a decent size (about 250 sq ft including the bathroom). Fittings and fixture in room as well as bathroom are dated but functional. Room has a small 20 inch flat TV but no refrigerator, electronic safe or arrangement for tea/coffee. There is free wi-fi but speed is variable. There is a split AC but no fan. In Kathmandu weather, a fan may suffice and may be preferred over an AC. There is a place to fix fan on the ceiling but it has been used for an electric bulb. I would suggest the management to consider placing a table fan in each room without which the room feels stuffy. Room service is efficient and prompt. The hotel is a good deal at about US$...
