Brasserie Legends — Restaurant in Aalsmeer

The reviews were pretty good 4.4 and we decided to go there for a meal after a long tiring day. We asked for a drink menu, but they didn't have one. Everyone should know what drinks they're ordering (!?). The food menu wasn't brought right away either. When we somehow got our drinks ordered, we asked for a food menu along with the drinks. We got the drinks, but it took 35 minutes to get the food menu. The people who came after us had gotten their food menus and were ordering. After waiting like that, we asked how long it takes to prepare the food, but the waiter couldn't tell us. We didn't get any answer about getting any appetizers or at least snacks. Very dismissive service, no one wanted to deal with us and we felt like we were somehow disturbing them. We left without eating. We think the reviews...

Great delicious food. Service great, my cocktail took a bit longer, however they came to me and apologised that cocktail takes longer than usual. When cocktail arrived he explained the delay. Cocktail was delicious and well presented. Starter, main and recommended dessert were great. I had: Onion soup = too salty Appetizer chicken tenders = awesome Appetizer Bread = great, generous portion Fish n chips = fish was a lil on the salty side, chips were bottom of the barrel and I was not impressed with them Beer = I had a blonde and a white, they were awesome
