What started as a lovely all-you-can-eat idea ended up in a €90,- bathroom getaway!

First try.. ❌ Sushi was awfull.. flavors were bland, rice was all mushy.. salmon tasted like it was premade and was served straight out of the fridge.. it made my stomach turn around..

Second try.. ❌ The panga fish and shrimps.. looked promissing at start.. until the cook gave it a pepper and salt bath!! The result.. a very greasy panga fish which had so much salt and pepper, as if the cook didn't want me to taste the fish itself. The shrimps were very dry and had a burned taste..

Third try.. 🙏 ❌ 2 Entrecotes.. tried a different cook, but even he managed to mess this up badly. He prepared them both at the same time.. the result.. 1 entrecote was fully well-done and was like chewing gum.. the other entrecote was half rare and half raw.. disgusting!!

My others friends also had an overall disgusting experience 🚫.. mushy and dry french fries, cold nuggets and even old slimy baked/grilled salmon..

After trying to eat for 20-30 minutes and all the waiting and dragging, we were done! One of my friends approached the owner, to share the complaint and ask for a refund or any kind of compensation.. then hell broke loose.

The owner told my friend that..

1. there will be no compensation
2. "if we want to eat fresh, we'd better go and cook at home"
3. If we want to complain we can go and write a review.. She then walked away and ignored any further conversation..

The host added.. that we paid for the "2 hour-sitting" and not for the food.. and therefore will receive no compensation.. even though we had more than an hour left..

To summarize.. ✔ Lovely location ✔ Lots of choices ❌ Horrible food quality ❌ Awful service ❌ Bad...

All you can eat! Sushi Italian Chinese Grill while you wait Fresh pizza while you wait Fresh pancakes while you wait Unlimited soft drinks Unlimited dessert,. ice cream, fruit,. etc. Tastiest lasagna in town! And so much more.

If you can think of something new,. theyll probably have it already.

One downside though, is that on busy days the queues are pretty bad,. so you end up picking the premade and deepfried foods. Make agreements with the rest of your party to all go get food together,. and eat until you finish your plate - otherwise you will end up taking turns at the table or waiting for food,. which doesn't make a very fun family experience.

Kids corner, arcade hall, and cinema all just around the corner. The studios are really big. The place is very popular, and you will likely have screaming and running kids coming by your table. (Just trip one or two and theyll stop that...

Achter de ongezellig ogende gevel van Studios Aalsmeer zit op de eerste verdieping dit restaurant. Van binnen is het echter verzorgd ingericht, en is het best gezellig ingericht. Het heeft een beetje het gevoel alsof je bij een buffet in Las Vegas zit, met aankleding in verschillende stijlen/van verschillende landen.

De bediening is vriendelijk en alert, vieze borden worden regelmatig weggehaald zodat je weer een schoon bord kan nemen.

Het eten is wat je mag verwachten van zo'n concept. Er is ruim voldoende keuze voor verschillende wensen. De kwaliteit is over het algemeen prima. Ook de op verzoek bereidde gerechten (met name vlees, vis en wok) zijn prima. Wel zijn er geen echte uitspringers wat mij betreft. Gewoon prima buffet eten, weinig op aan te merken, maar ook weinig waar ik echt voor terug zou gaan.

Wat ik wel teleurstellend vond was de speelhoek. Wij waren met jonge kinderen, en dan is het fijn als ze even kunnen spelen tussen het eten door. De speelhoek is echter grotendeels leeg, en heeft eigenlijk alleen zo'n bord aan de muur. Voor een restaurant wat toch door veel kinderen bezocht wordt vind ik dat jammer. Daarnaast is er nog een speelhal voor wat oudere kinderen, maar dit zijn helaas alleen maar elektronische spellen waar nog apart voor moet worden betaald.

Al met al hebben we een prima avond gehad, maar vond ik het toch wel aan de prijs voor wat je krijgt. Wij betaalden het 'weekend en feestdagen ' tarief, wat €38 voor volwassenen en €24 voor kinderen was. Het was leuk om een keer te proberen, maar ik denk dat we niet zo snel nog een...
