I recently had the misfortune of visiting De Praam Aalsmeer, and what started as a casual late afternoon drink with my family turned into an appalling and traumatizing experience. The incident that unfolded has left me deeply disturbed and compelled to share my horrifying encounter.

As a petite female, I never expected to be subjected to physical assault in a supposedly safe and public space. However, the security guards at De Praam, shattered any illusions of security I had. In a shocking display of aggression, he manhandled me in a highly inappropriate manner, violating personal boundaries in a way that no woman should ever have to endure.

The location of the assault, a sensitive area that is absolutely off-limits, highlights the utter disregard for basic decency and respect by the establishment's staff. The pain and bruise I was left with for several days serve as a painful reminder of the trauma inflicted upon me in what should have been a carefree evening.

Seeking redress, my family and I approached the staff to speak with management to address this horrific incident. To our disbelief, we were met with callous indifference. Instead of showing concern for the well-being of a patron who had just suffered a distressing assault, the management callously informed us that we were not welcome.

The blatant disregard for customer safety, coupled with the refusal to address the issue responsibly, paints a damning picture of De Praam. No individual should have to fear for their physical safety while enjoying a drink with loved ones. I had an absolutely awful experience at De Praam in Aalsmeer and feel compelled to share my unfortunate ordeal. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to think twice before going. Here's why:

Awful Experience from Start to Finish: From the moment I entered De Praam, everything seemed to go wrong. The staff was unresponsive, inattentive, and seemed generally uninterested in providing decent customer service. It was a disappointing start to what turned out to be a series of unpleasant events.

One incident that completely shocked me was witnessing the unacceptable behavior of their security personnel. Pushing a woman for absolutely no reason. Witnessing such disturbing conduct made me question the ethics and professionalism of their security team. It is simply unacceptable to push and mistreat customers in such a manner.

Throughout my entire visit, I was met with an unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere. The staff seemed to lack any warmth or friendliness, making it difficult to feel at ease. This somber ambiance seriously detracted from what should have been an enjoyable experience.

Yesterday I went to the restaurant and I wanted to order a take away. I asked a blonde lady who approached me if I can use the bathroom in the meantime. I explained her that it was an emergency and that I have already asked in two supermarkets but they do not have a toilet for clients 😳 and everything is closed nearby and there is no public toilet and this is the only place open. The hotel that I was staying in was far away and I was literally begging her. She rejected me with such a hypocritical smile and she said how sorry is she but she cannot let me use the bathroom.
