Portofino — Restaurant in Almere

We went there without a reservation, around 18:30. But we could get a table and ordering went smoothly. But after that everything went downhil when the restaurant got busy. We were waiting for the waiter to come back to order desserts, after 20 minutes of waiting and when he finally came to the table, when we asked for the menu again he simply said he cannot serve us desserts and we have to leave because we have to free this table for the next customer. What an arrogant behaviour from the waiter. We promised desserts for our baby and she was heartbroken that we had to leave. Never coming back again and will not recommend this...

We had a Vegetarian pizza here today, it was not that great. Ambience was not that great as well.

Waiters seemed friendly can’t say same about the manager/ cashier who was accepting payment.

We were here for the first time, just wanted to grab a bite and we were pretty quick to leave as I did not like the taste of the pizza.

The comment that the guy who was at the payment machine made some comments about the bill, that it was too less and we would have delivered it etc…

My pasta ragu was rich and hearty, and pasta carbonara was creamy and delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu – it was perfectly balanced and indulgent.
