Juffrouw Jacoba — Restaurant in Amersfoort

Juffrouw Jacoba is a cozy, cute place where I had lunch with 2 friends last Saturday. Overall a great experience and a fun atmosphere. I had a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a crêpe with sugar, both were on point 👌🏼The hot chocolate was served as warm milk with chocolate chips on the side, so you can dial in how chocolatey you want it. The crêpe was absolutely tasty as well! Also there was a cute small dog walking around the restaurant, I reckon it's the owner's. On our way out we asked one of the waitresses about Amersfoort (as this way our first time there) and she gave us a bunch of tips and a map of the city with all the local spots for sightseeing. I recently had a great lunch here, a pancake restaurant located by the canal in Amersfoort. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great pancake experience in Amersfoort.

Wij vonden deze lunchtent obv de hoge reviews op Google maps. Het zaakje zag er heel schattig uit, dus wij besloten de gok te wagen. Buiten op het balkon zaten ook mensen, ook dat zag er leuk uit. De tafeltjes waren iets wat krap met de volledige bestelling erop. Het personeel liep vaak naar het balkon en deed de deur telkens niet goed dicht, waardoor deze open waaide en ik meermaals op moest staan omdat het erg tochtte (omdat de voordeur ook open stond) en met 16/17 graden is dat best fris. Toen de mensen achter ons vertrokken besloten wij een tafeltje op te schuiven uit de tocht én een iets groter tafeltje (een normaal formaat 2-persoonstafel). De bediening wist niet hoe snel ze ons moest aanspreken dat ze ons misschien wel ging verplaatsen. We hadden allebei de clubsandwich besteld, los van dat ik hem er niet heel smakelijk uit vond zien, was het ook wit brood wat niet vult (ik dacht dat er tegenwoordig gezond brood werd geserveerd of op zijn minst wordt gevraagd welke brood je wilt hebben). Ook mijn smoothie was erg waterig en smaakte nergens naar. Al met al stonden we binnen 40 minuten weer buiten, 45 euro lichter, prijs/kwaliteit echt ver ondermaats.
