My wife and I have dined at Wasanee Dee several times this summer and each visit was amazing! Food is authentic and delicious, the staff is super friendly (we love Jennifer) and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Last dinner my wife and I started with the Saté Kai, which is probably the best Chicken Sateh I have ever had! My wife then had the Nua Mango Naam Prik Pao and I had the Keng Kiouw Waan Kai and both were excellent! I hope that Amersfoort realizes that they have a gem of a restarant here in town! May I please give 6 stars to Wasana Dee ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Fabulous authentic Thai flavors! The best Tom Ka Kai I’ve ever had in NL. And they were ok to make it with Tofu instead of chicken to accommodate being vegetarian! Staff are very friendly and quick service! What a great Thai restaurant !! Thank you for putting a smile in my face and in my belly. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in Amersfoort again.

Op zoek naar een ander soort keuken kwamen we uit op dit restaurant... niet al te groot restaurant maar vriendelijke bediening.. we hebben een menu besteld voor 2 personen.... 2 gerechten met 2 pepertjes... voorgerechten waren lekker... Tom yam soep was goed en pittig met heel veel kip. Hoofdgerecht was rode curry met kip en biefstuk. Qua pittigheid viel die wat tegen ondanks de 2 pepertjes... smaak was verder prima alleen de biefstuk had een beetje te lang gebakken en was taai geworden... verder koffie toe. Inclusief ieder 2 consumpties kwamen we uit op 80 euro. Persoonlijk beetje aan de hoge kant maar porties waren zeker ruim voldoende. Als je pittig eten wil kan je dit beter even van te voren aangeven.

As far as Thai food goes, this is definitely one of the better venues to get your eat on. The menu isn't too extensive, which I think is a good thing. This usually means that the food that is there are more or less a specialty. The entourage is cozy and just feels familiar.

As I'm a big fan of spicy food I went for one of the hottest dishes on the menu, being Naam Tok Moe. It doesn't happen very often that food in the Netherlands actually is hot, so this was a nice change.

We spent a couple of hours here and had a full course meal and coffee including some drinks and ended up having to pay about 40 Euro each, which is very decent.

If you're in Amersfoort and are in the mood for some good Thai food, I would definitely...

Kwaliteit van het eten is prima maar de service is slecht. De serveerster had geen kennis van de kaart waardoor van de 2 bestelde hoofdgerechten er 1 niet mee kwam. Men gaf aan dat het druk was in de keuken, bood excuus aan en wide het gemiste gerecht alsnog bereiden maar dat houd in dat 1 persoon dan moet wachten met eten. Besloten hier geen gebruik van te maken en het overgebleven hoofdgerecht te delen echter na een paar happen bleek dit niet het door ons bestelde gerecht te zijn. Er zat aardappel in waar ondergetekende niet tegen kan en dus nooit zou bestellen. Het hoofdgerecht terug gestuurd en daar de jeu eraf was ondanks het aanbod om wederom een nieuw gerecht te laten bereiden het hierbij gelaten en de bij gerechten op gegeten. Wij hebben 40 euro betaald voor wat we wel hebben gegeten: een voorgerecht, bijgerechten en 4 drankjes wat terecht is maar je zou toch verwachten dat je een gratis drankje krijgt aangeboden of een andere compensatie mede gezien het feit dat ondergetekende allergisch reageert op aardappels.
