Arena Food Express — Restaurant in Amsterdam

We've been ordering from Arena Food Express for two years now, and at this point, they should probably just adopt us. This place is an Indian food fever dream—the kind where you wake up sweating, but it's just the vindaloo kicking in.

Let’s talk about the samosas. Golden. Crispy. So good they deserve their own national holiday. We've considered just ordering 12 and calling it dinner, and honestly? No regrets.

Then there's the vindaloo—hotter than our love for this place. It doesn't ask you if you're ready. It just arrives, ruins your taste buds in the best way possible, and leaves you questioning your spice tolerance and your life choices. And then you order it again next week.

And finally, the jalfrezi. Saucy, spicy, and slightly chaotic—just like us. It’s the dish you get when you want to feel alive. And by “alive,” we mean “sweating but smiling.”

The portions are generous, the flavors are chef's kiss, and the staff know their stuff. After two years of samosa-fueled loyalty, we can safely say: Arena Food Express isn’t just a takeaway spot, it’s a long-term relationship.

Late-Night Gem for Authentic Indian Cuisine It’s hard to find a place open late around here, so discovering this was a pleasant surprise. They serve a full menu well into the night — note displayed outside are a few menu options, inside at the tables they have a full range menu with different protein and side options.

The food is good and authentic. I got the butter chicken with rice, garlic naan, samosa for my partner, while I had a side of fries — total was 30 euro…flavorful with the spice level to your preference.

Delivery: The food is ok and always comes in warm. My main issue is with the service. There has never been a time when Arena Food Express has delivery my food on time.

I thought that when I place an oder and schedule a delivery time, at least then it will be on time but even then its late.

I think this place can get better if it improves service. Terrible service. Placed an order today at 11:00 and scheduled for 12:00. Still waiting for it......

Also I don't know why they advertise their phone number because they never pickup the phone to answer customer calls. Just feel like I'm wasting money...
