Bakker Jongejans — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Very nice bakery with tasty pastry. They even have sockets, so you can work there. The ambiente is very pretty and the staff also nice. However, today I decided to sit in the restaurant and I did not get served. After half an hour of waiting and trying to get the attention of the staff, I left. I understand, the staff is busy with the shop, but please dont forget about the people sitting in the restaurant area. I will definitely go again and change my reference, if I have a better experience next time.

Very nice bakery! Actually underrated I’d say. The (big) croissant were very delicious. Also the curly pastry with almond was great. Prices are normal (big croissant was 1.95), surely not an exaggeration. Also the staff working there was so kind and the guy at the counter was very nice good to see them! It gives the vibe of a real bakery but they have also space for tables and to sit which is top! Great option if you are in the area and don’t wanna bother to in...

I had a slice of chocolate cake here but it was disappointing.

Food: the flavor was too sweet for me, and it was too dry.

Service: I couldn’t get a fork when I requested. They just said they don’t have. I understand they might not have forks for take away, but because I was intended to stay in Gelderlandplein, so I even can burrow the one for dine in fork and get it back to them.

Atmosphere: I can’t evaluate this because I have never eaten something...
