Great vibe, tasty food and perfect for those summer days!

Location: (5/5) Located a stones throw away from the canal, this is a great place to sit and enjoy a lovely meal. The outdoor seating is shielded from the road by the trees and plants they have which gives it a bit of an escape feel.

Food & Drink: (5/5) The food arrived quickly, the plating done to perfection and the flavours were great. I had the tartar. The meat was fresh and the spices inside added a great balancing act with the flavour of the meat. The crispy bread added another layer on the texture. Overall a well rounded dish. Had a brand weizen to top it off which is great for the warm days.

Service: (5/5) The staff were friendly and helpful in making a food choice. They accommodated a last minute booking of mine and that was really nice of them given the current situation.

This lovely find is a Bar and grill situated, as typical of the better Dutch restaurants, near a canal. Views overlooking the water and a bustling intersection they are one of the few places I have found in the city that have the "green egg" smoker. Having sampled from 7 of the dishes served here including the black Angus steak it has me thoroughly impressed. All of the dishes where cooked with care and expertise and the service was good as well. Quality OK, but expensive and i have felt robbed to be honest.

I can understand that when you go outside you go for the experience and whatever BUT 23 Eur for a "Steak"and they bring you LITERALLY 2 slices of 5 cm with a boiled/roasted red onion on the side.....i mean...come on....yeah black Angus...23 EUR for 2 slices. In a quality shop 500gr around 12/15 euro..... 23 euro for 2 SLICES. Are u frigging kidding me?

3 stars just for the drinks and location. For the rest, service not efficient (it was on Saturday so I understand the pressure in any case) and balance cost/amount...
