Best kebab in Amsterdam by far. Don't believe other people when they say Leeman's is good, they must have lost their tastebuds many years ago when eating too hot bitterballen. This here is the real deal. Great meat, great bread, homemade delicious sauces, grilled veggies, something that really comes together. Someone here thought about how you can make great kebab that delights the customers' tongue. Forget all other kebabs in Amsterdam, they are nothing in comparison. Most even just offer some sla and onion next to meat, while here you get a symphony of flavours delivering something that is more than the sum of its parts. I was there yesterday. The owner became angry at me and called me rude without knowing that I understood turkish because some guy in the queue asked me what was the best way to eat the doner. I told him to eat it without all the sauce they offer there because it's not typical to use these sauces! In general, it seems like a place where you should order fast use all the sauces pay and go.they looked angry, and I didn't feel the turkish hospitality! The meat in the Doner was good , the bread as well,excellent, and their onion sauce it was weird ,but good. What's more compelling than the intoxicating meat smells that beckon you to the far reaches of Dapperstraat's markt? Nothing would be the answer, and the long line at 3p on a Thursday only further confirmed our decision that this food stand would hold us close and love us tenderly.

We tried the lamp (lams) wrap, chicken (kip) wrap, and veggie Turkish pizza with feta. All delicious, though would probably substitute a wrap for one of their fluffy yet crusty broodjes that looked equally awesome. Their sauces were a perfect glue to hold everything together with legit housemade ground chili at work.
