Naskip — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Today we went to the Dapperstraat location, we arrived at 21:20hrs (their opening hours said they close at 22:00) and we ordered quite fast and clearly what we wanted, 2 menus 2 drinks and mayonaise. When we got the order we said we wanted to eat there and the very unkind woman at the counter replied with an extremly rude and dry "NO!". We where surprised with that answer but ok. We thought: maybe she wanted to close earlier or had a bad day... who knows. We were hungry so we sat in a public bench outside. When we checked the bag she gave us, it was not 2 drinks but one so i went to ask for the other drink and she said we only ordered 1 drink (?) We ordered 2 but oke.. she charged me with a card using fee, ok... then when ready to eat there were no mayo as ordered neither so i went back and said that there were no mayo and we did ordered it, she argued to me in an angry way saying we didnt order it. It was annoying to get that answer because we did order it clearly but she did not pay attention to us and above all she pretended to charge again the card using fee..! Is not about the cents but the bad attitude she had... and to make it even worse, the kitchen worker, an around 60 years old man said he heard that we didnt ordered which was a total and sad lie. I dont want to get stuff for free, i just want to get treated well. I said ok, keep your mayo im not paying extra... then she just shout a loud and sarcastic BYE and made fun of me with other people that was at the restaurant. To close the review i just want to say that when a business have success like i do believe Naskip have, they should not forget that their success is hugely in part because of the customers in my case returning customer. Is not only about how good the food can be. Dont ever forget that we, the clients are the ones making you succeed and therefore we deserve a good and...

Always a pleasure visiting the establishment. When you crave some nostalgic love from Suriname, this is the place to be. Would it be criminal to state that the chicken tastes even better than the one back in Suriname? I've been a regular for quite some time now, and not even once was I disappointed in the taste or the quality of the food. Fresh, juicy and tender meat served with the famous home-made hot sauce. I actually drive about 50 km for it, and the host always takes special care in preparing the order so that nothing goes wrong. Thank you for being there Naskip. Sincerely all the Surinamese ❤️

Keep in mind that taste in food is subjective, and this is just my personal experience. We ordered from here through UberEats, and unfortunately, it wasn’t quite what we hoped for. The fried chicken looked unappealing and had an odd smell, which gave me pause, but I tried it anyway. The flavors were very unusual—definitely not what I’d expect from fried chicken and hard to describe in a positive way.

While it’s a budget-friendly option, I personally wouldn’t order again and would recommend spending a bit more for better...
