As tourists, we were strolling around looking for a place to eat and happened to stop here—and we’re so glad we did! The menu is available in both Dutch and English, which made ordering super easy. The lady taking orders was really kind and took extra care in suggesting what to eat, which we really appreciated. The interiors are beautifully artistic, and while it’s not a big seating space, it feels nice and cozy. The food was great, and we also had coffee and fresh orange juice—both were perfect. Loved the whole experience! Would definitely recommend stopping by.

"De Lachende Gulden" -The Laughing Florin- is home to lots of retailers and many neighborhood folks of the famous "Dappermarkt" street market. Coffee, beer etc. and food are good and absolutely very affordable. The place is as clean as a Dutch household can be and that's very clean. Camera: Moto G5s Plus by Lenovo

Gezellige zaak en personeel. Maar wat nu goed vervelend wordt is s'ochtens om 06:15 de oude heer een blazer gebruikt om blaadjes weg te blazen. Hebben jullie niet gehoord van een bezem? We hebben hier een aantal kinderen in de straat die hiermee elke ochtend mee gestoord worden. Het lijkt mij ook niet de bedoeling om te slepen met stoelen of tafels neer te gooien. Misschien een goed idee om iemand van jongere leeftijd dit werk te laten doen. Want deze maakt de hele buurt wakker en bakt er niets van. Ik heb zelf jaren in de horeca gewerkt en ook terrassen moeten plaatsen en nooit klachten van omwonenden gehad. Dit spant echt de kroon.

Ik hoop dat u hier snel iets aan kun doen want dit is nu wel...
