Brouwerij en Proeflokaal Breugem — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Dear Team,

I would like to elaborate on the poor review.

We arrived at your establishment in the afternoon. We ordered drinks from the friendly server and were given the menus. We asked for 5 minutes to browse the menu and choose something to eat. The server mentioned that he would return shortly after bringing the drinks and explicitly pointed out that we had arrived early enough to order full meals, such as burgers.

After about 3 minutes, we had decided on our meals and waited for the server to return. When the server had not reappeared after about 35 minutes, I went to look for her in the restaurant. When I mentioned that we would like to place our order, she asked for a few more minutes. When the server finally returned to our table 45 minutes later, we were informed that it was now too late to order burgers, etc.

As a result, we had to pay the parking fees for nothing and left the restaurant hungry.

I rated the service poorly because we unfortunately had a negative experience at your establishment, and I cannot comment on the quality of the food.

Of course, it is not a big deal that something like this happens, but it was very unpleasant for us as we had been on the road all day and were looking forward to a hearty meal.

It's some kind of a disaster that chase me with that brewery. I was extremely dissapointed wirh how terrible the one in the citt center become, but decided to give that one a second try. First of all, when I asked for flights, I was brought absolutely different beers from what I asked. Second, the service is punishing, rude and slow. You can't get anything if you don't speak Dutch. Finally, they can't even spell wi-fi network name correctly on a chalk board. De Prael is the only brewery in the world that I don't want to visit ever. P.S. I asked for a beer, and I watch a barman lady taking a dirty glass she just brought, putting it in a sink filled with water and other dirty glasses. She takes ot out, pretending it is clean, though it still has someone elses lipstick on it. She pours the beer into it. I stand disgusted, since I realized i was prevuiosly served beer in dirty glasses. Oh, god, i just pay the bill and walk out. Never ever will I step into De Prael bar or buy their beer. Awesome! Great large but cozy place, lots of interesting beers, great food too (large plates with good salads, fresh fries, good meat and everything). Most importantly: happy employees that all looked like they enjoyed working there. Informal and friendly and in for a joke or two. They're a bit out of reach from the city centre but if you're nearby don't hesitate. We (company team) went there after an equally awesome escape room 5 min further (Locked Amsterdam: Submarine, the best that I've ever seen) and had a total blast that evening. Highly...
