I went on monday with my wife and my son (2 years old) and we ask to the staff for a table outsides. they answer us that unfortunately was available just one but it was all in the sun. we told them the sun was too strong for our son. but until this nothing to say to them. they give the table to two person behind us (correct) and they move the umbrela to make shadow on them (less correct) After few minutes they tell us it was available other table. it was good for us so they tell us to wait on the door, because they need a minute for cleaning the table. we wait with the kid, but two persons go to seat in "our" table and the manager (I think she was) tell us, that, unfortunately, someone was seats in "our" table.(???) you tell me to wait for clean the table and if someone else seats in that table you don't tell them enything??? Very disappointed, we went to seat inside. After us arrived other 3 tables and instead to ask us, the staff tooken order of these tables, while we were waiting with the kid continued to tell "I'm hungry, I'm hungry". I think you need to change the waiters From the order the food arrived quite soon. nothing to tell on the food.. is a bar...

We did not get our wine (needed to ask twice); 2. one of the mains was not served; 3. the chefs menu was not available as the fish had not arrives (improvise please). However the final insult was the presentation of the bill before we could order dessert/coffee. The waiter (the arrogant and rude fellow-you can't miss him) said sorry no dessert nor coffee for you the restaurant is now closed (for a wedding). We were not told about this kitchen/bar closure in advance (in which case we would have ordered the desserts and the coffee). So in conclusion beautiful garden, wonderfully restored building and lovely lunching space but it is such a shame about...
Read moreDelicious vegetarian restaurant! The food was very good, different than the average vegetarian dishes in Amsterdam cafés. Cozy, cute, quiet, relaxed, great daytime restaurant to have food at a "restaurant" pace. We felt relaxed having our 2.5 course lunch (too full for dessert). Service was super friendly, and knew the menu well. Good wine selection and a lovely cat (Tom) that visits from a neighbor's. Dog friendly as well. They change the menu sort of quarterly I think, will go back soon to try more of current menu as well. 4 starts as didn't try...
