Samen - Lunch and Juices — Restaurant in Amsterdam

First and foremost I must mention the service. I spent 5 days around the Amsterdam area and time & time again the service was bare minimum and quite frustrating. Than I visited Samen, and my dissatisfaction with the service quality in Amsterdam was dissapated. Samens atmosphere was incredible. It was inviting, clean and wonderfully decorated. The staff was friendly and ATTENTIVE

I absolutely love this café! We live nearby, so we come here regularly. It’s a bit of a hidden gem in the neighborhood, especially with two trendier cafés close by. But if you appreciate a classic coffee shop vibe—cozy, relaxed, with authentic people and, of course, a lovely cat—this is the place for you!

They have the best apple pie I’ve ever had in Amsterdam—so soft and delicious. Their other cakes are also great, and they offer affordable breakfast and lunch options, which is rare to find at these prices in Amsterdam....

My favourite place in the neighbourhood. If you are looking for a place where you can go regularly and feel at home, this is it. Every day you see the local faces here, staff is very friendly, nice selection of juices and smoothies. Menu didn’t change much over the years, but that’s the charm of Samen. I know people who claimed that tuna sandwich from Samen is constant of their life. Prices are very affordable, kids and pets...
