Sushi Su — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I used to be a customer for over 2 years now, however lately I’ve been quite disappointed at the quality and quantity of the food.

For starters, they have been replacing their seaweed salad with mostly lettuce. There has been several times that the salmon is not edible due to its toughness and I have had to sadly throw it away. The rice is less tasty and the sushi is wrapped worse and worse each time. Additionally, they constantly get the orders wrong and when you call to inform them about this, they ask you to return the wrong order (even if it’s been somewhat eaten). This honestly gives me the feeling like they reuse the food, which would be quite unsanitary (I have no proof of this, however they greatly oppose when I have offered to give it to one of my neighbors instead of bringing it back).

The food here is really good, which is why we keep ordering. However, the delivery is far from good. The last few times we've ordered something went wrong. We order for pick up, it's not ready for another 20 minutes and a thuisbezorgd driver argues with the person behind the desk. Delivery takes twice as long as it should and the last time we ordered, our order disappeared and they had to remake it, so delivery was 45 minutes later. Had erg trek in Sushi. Je hebt wel eens van die dagen. Ben zelfs helemaal naar Amstelveen gereden en diverse bekeken of ze nog open waren. Maar helaas waren deze niet meer open. Toen keek ik op Google en zag dat Sushi Su in de buurt nog open was. Ze waren de vloer aan het schoonmaken toen ik binnenliep en een man was hun bezorg scooters aan het schoonmaken buiten. Ik kreeg de vraag of ik haast had van een vriendelijke vrouw. Mijn antwoord was Nee doe maar rustig aan. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik mijn menu in handen. Ben naar huis gereden en heb zo heerlijk gegeten. Hun dragon roll en de spicy tuna smolt in mijn mond. Netjes verpakt en voldoende soya en wasabi en gember. Heerlijk gewoon! Klasse sushi en bereidt door mensen met een vriendelijke en betrokken instelling.

I was asked if I was in a hurry by a friendly woman. My answer was No, just take it easy. Finally I got my menu in hand. I drove home and had such a delicious meal.
