During a weekend trip to Amsterdam, I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional Indian restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. Being from London, I’ve enjoyed a variety of Indian cuisines, but this experience was truly outstanding, from the food to the ambiance and hospitality.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was immaculately clean, and the décor was both modern and authentically Indian, with elegant details. The ambient lighting and soft background music added to the relaxed yet vibrant vibe of the place.

For starters, I opted for the Amritsar Maachi and Samosa Chaat. The Amritsar Maachi was a perfectly spiced, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The Samosa Chaat was equally impressive.

For the main course, I was recommended the Prawn Karahi (WOW!). I also had Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, rice, and a side of Vegetable Raita. The food and presentation was amazing!! The Prawn Karahi was soooo good and definitely a favourite with the naan. The kitchen also kindly made the butter chicken a bit spicy as I had requested. I find a lot of places do not usually tend to do this even if requested, but they had no issue with making the dish according to preference.

To finish, I couldn’t resist trying the Rasmalai for dessert. Given I have a crazy sweet tooth, it was the perfect end to the meal.

One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service. The owner was incredibly friendly and made sure that we felt welcome and comfortable. The staff were equally attentive and kind, especially with my three year old daughter, who was treated with such warmth and care. It’s not every day you come across such genuine hospitality, and it truly enhanced the overall experience!

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough to anyone visiting Amsterdam, especially if you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine. The combination of fantastic food, a wonderful ambiance, and top-notch service makes it a must-visit. Thank you so much for the unforgettable experience! I will definitely be returning the next...

We've ordered takeaway a few times and the food is great! Very nice spices, delicious and juicy meats and vegetables and spicy if you so choose. I usually take a lamb dish, my wife and son prefer the chicken or vegetarian dishes. The nan and rice are also very good and well prepared. Delivery is quick, the food is hot and the person who delivers is very friendly and customer-minded. We'll surely pay a visit to the restaurant and dine there when we have the time. Definitely my favorite...

I have no idea why this place is not on everyone’s radar, the food was insanely good! The cheese garlic naan was the best I’ve had in Amsterdam. Rasoi is good, but let me tell you- this is better. We got complimentary papad for dining-in and our waitress was super nice and explained all the dishes. Vibe of the restaurant is very relaxed and the everything is spotless clean. We will...

We had a delicious dinner at Manzil tonight. Wonderful staff, tasty food, wonderful atmosphere with music and the most wonderful birthday surprise for my friend who celebrated his birthday today. Definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian in this area! Ps average pricing per person is because we drank a lot of beer each 😅😂🤣

Ate dinner inside and we were the only ones there. It seems to be more of a takeaway place. The chicken tikka starter was okay, a little on the oily side but the chicken was cooked to perfection. The lamb stew was good too. The paneer was the best! I want to go back and just order every paneer dish on the menu!
