Silk Sushi & Asian Dining Arnhem — Restaurant in Arnhem

My rate: 2/5. Very disappointed! I went to Silk in Zwolle and it was fine. But this time my dinner in Arnhem was so bad. -Food: there are 3 dishes you can find in all AYCE restaurants: sushi, grilled salmon and beef teriyaki. In my opinion if they are not good, dont highly hope the rest of the menu would taste good. *Sushi: rice was too sticky and wet. Most of the sushi dishes were not tasty. *Grilled salmon: the fish was not fresh. The sauce was salty. *Beef teriyaki: the meat quality wasn't the best, had a strong smell and yes the sauce was salty as well. If I write review for every dishes then this post will be super long. Their sauces were one of the main issues that made the food taste bad. They overused soya sauce and sweet chilli sauce. Many of the dishes were too salty. They put the country flags on dishes but the authenticity was missing. For example: Pho with pak choi and the broth was bland or Korean fried chicken with ketchup instead of Gochujang. Staff were nice and friendly. The price was expensive for their poor food quality. It was such a pity as Silk in Arnhem couldn't keep the quality as good as Silk in Zwolle did. The experience went from bad to worst: Ordering: None explains you it works until 15 minutes after (considering you have 2 hours to eat ) We went as group and we have to use our own telephone to order but only one phone for 6 people ..once again considering the time to eat .. food: If you are lucky to get what you order, food is not acceptable not even for a picture, the amount is really small (compare with KOI that is the same style KOI is way way better ) The food is not what you see in the picture and definitely the flavour is from dry to disgusting … Service : I am sure that the guys do their best to help but it is really confusing the way they work .. they don’t know what happen and not knowing what order goes to what table … Btw they like to duplicate orders 😅 so it is really annoying tell them you did not prder 2 times because you still waiting what you actually order from one hour ago Recommend to go NO … it is expensive...

In short: 2/10 I wouldn't recommend visiting. I have had my fair share of all you can eat sushi across the country, this is definitely, in my opinion the worst in Arnhem.

Reception looks lost, please train your employees Food choices are very very limited and the taste is not the greatest. Few things tasted good, some I found ridiculous. Putting a new dish on a finished plate is an all time low of restaurant service If you happen to sit by the kitchen, expect the waitors loudly flirting with each other next to you and leaning into the seat so you feel constantly disturbed Only 3 dessert options, and only one per person is included in the price Whiffs of bleach smell. Don't know where they came from

Things I found ok: the overall ambiance and the music Dishes I found good: grilled salmon and eel nigiri The extra one star goes to them. There are way better restaurant with this concept...
