Amazing architecture and variety, all in one building. By moving though its different floors , you time - jump back in the different milestone periods of this church. On the first floor you can see the remains of Duke Charles and how he helped establish the city of Arnhem. On the sixth floor you can have a daredevil experience by walking on a glass Balcony and if you are not too scared to pay close attention to the surrounding gargoyles, you will see something peculiar that will amaze you. On the seventh floor you can learn about the architecture competition that led to the present form of the church. Personally I routed for the third rejected model but anyways. On the first floor learn about the WW2 phase of the church and how it got destroyed ironically by burning even though a few days earlier it had a pioneer for its days fire system installed. And for a closure that will make an impression on you 😉 go to the catacombs and use the flashes there to see inside the cells. There you will learn about the social norm in burial ceremonies in the 15th century and see skyscrapers of skeletons 🦴.
All in all a very diverse and full experience. And the city of Arnhem is a small and peaceful jewellery on its own. When you step outside it's lovely station grab a coffee and walk its alleys to reach the Eusebius Church . Then walk to the...

The church at the moment has no much to offer, with th exception of the organ. The true highlight is the tower.
The ticket covers the tower and you get an euro discount if you have the museum card. Audio guide is offered for free with your ticket.
Staff recommendation is climb directly to floor 7 using the elevator. Then there’s one extra floor using stairs to go to top of the tower.
The 7th floor has some story about the tower, surrounding buildings, the war and the market garden operation.
The 8th floor (top) is mostly view and some interactive stuff that explains how the new tower was designed.
On your way down you go to the 6th and 5th floors where you have the observation “decks”. You can take great photos and video from here and also get some vertigo.
Keep going down to the 1st floor for a video with the tower history.
And finally back on the ground floor don’t forget to go through the room that has some photos of the tower and its reconstruction. Also check out the ceiling of...
Read more100% a must visit if you go to arnhem. There's a lot to see and information for everything. There sadly isn't a whole lot left of the original interior because it was bombed during WW2, but the amount of information really makes up for that. The underground cellar is beautiful, and there's a lot of impressive finds down there. There's also a small movie that beautifully depicts how the church developed over time. The real high of the church though, is the tower. The view from the tower is amazing. Its easy to get up there because there is a massive elevator going all the way to the top, and when you are at the top, there's information about everything you're seeing. All around the Eusebius church has given me a whole new look at Gelre as a nation and I 100%...
