Review in English and Dutch:
EN: We went here a short while ago with some friends (keeping social distancing and hygene in mind). Upon entering, you are required to leave contact information in case of contamination by other visitors.
The establishment is nice, spacious and modern inside, including several round table booths seating upstairs (although this section was closed), with plenty of outside seating options outside, including multiple picknick tables and beach lounging.
The menu prices seem a little steep, but are well worth it. We had cocktails (mojito was a tad bitter, the licquor 43 based cocktail was very smooth though). We ordered nachos as starter (1 order per 2 people), which were very nice as well.
The real star for 3 of us was the hangover beachburger. This burger is delicious, although the sunny side up egg on top might make eating this burger a little messy. The 4th in our party had the clams, which were also good, according to them.
Read moreMost terrible meal I had in the last 20 years. First I was placed on a dirty table. Nobody came to clean up. The waitress toke my order, still no clean-up. I ordered a Palla Especiale, with seafood and meat. A Sangria was included. I ordered also a said Fruit Shake. The meal was served, still no clean-Up of the table. I had to ask to clean the table. The waitress just wiped on time over the table, just spreading the dirt. The Paella was anything else, but not a Paella. I should know Paella, as I live in Spain. The rice was dry, glueing together. It was not possible to define, was kind of meat it was, but overcooked and dry. There were some small pieces of Chorrizo, but dry and spicy. There were some mussels, dry and no taste. One lost shrimp was found, the only thing of the whole meal with taste. The Sangria was something else, but not Sangria. Impossible to define, what it was. And the shake was topping all. It was a said Coco Loco fruitshake, with pineapple, coco and orange juice. The orange juice was surely this liquid from the supermarket, what shall be something like orange juice. Pineapple taste negative. And the coco was something like grains or balls. The staff was overwhelmed by the crowd, nothing friendly, and when I was asking the bill, I had to ask twice for the ticket. You want to eat something nice, in a nice restaurant, then go somewhere else. In the Nautilus you'll waste your time and money. A kiosk around the corner in your place surely serves something better, and McDonald is a 3* restaurant compared with...
Read moreVegetarians/Vegans: dont go. I don't expect much from restaurants. Everything smells like meat and fish, I'm fine with that. There is fried potatoe wedges with fried fish - sure. Waiter realized I'm vegetarian, asks me if I want just the fried potato wedges - pleasantly surprised I say "yes".
When he brings the wedges back I start to eat and get a distinctly fishy flavor in my mouth. I look closer - it's the same wedge portion that previously had fish on it - he just took the big pieces of fried fish away, but some of it fell off and stuck to the wedges - and I ate it. Could not be more disappointed and disgusted.
Another vegetarian colleague also left in a rage because something similar happened to her (with a previous dish)
Idk if this is normal or if they were just in over their heads this evening, but I sure as hell will not return and can't recommend any...
