Heerlijke cappuccino! Mooie gezellig plek midden in het centrum. Fijne service vanuit het hart en lach. Parkeren voor de deur lekker in het zonnetje. Een super ervaring en ik weet waar ik mijn heerlijk koffie kan halen nu in Castricum.

Heerlijke cappuccino! Mooie gezellig plek midden in het centrum. Fijne service vanuit het hart en lach. Parkeren voor de deur lekker in het zonnetje. Een super ervaring en ik weet waar ik mijn heerlijk koffie kan halen nu in Castricum.

Heerlijk ijs. We komen er heel vaak. Echt ambachtelijk gemaakt. En ook brandschoon. Nergens is het smerig . Ik schrijf dit naar aanleiding van een negatieve review elders. Wij komen er al jaren en nog nooit 1 ijskristalletje geproefd zoals elders word beweerd. Alles is glad gedraaid en romig.

Zij maken alles zelf. Heb zelf gezien dat ze dropijs maken van echte toffees die ook allemaal werden ontdaan van hun wikkel om verwerkt te worden. Het was een flinke berg waar ze een tijdje mee bezig waren.

Het wordt van elders aangeleverd met een donkerblauw busje . Dat klopt, maar van hun EIGEN vestiging in Heemskerk waar er meer ruimte is dan in Castricum en het ook ZELF wordt gemaakt en NIET in een fabriek. En mijn review is beslist niet nep. Ik twijfel of die negatieve recensie wel over Marx o Larry's ging want het klopt van geen kanten. En oja, de prijs per bol is €1,20 en niet €1,90 zoals elders wordt beweerd. Nogmaals heerlijk...

Bij binnenkomst oogt de winkel smerig, rommelig en armoedig. Helft van de smaken word gemaakt in een fabriek vermoed ik, ik woon namelijk dicht in de buurt bij deze ijssalon en zie dat er wekelijks ijs word uitgeladen uit een donkerblauw busje. Ook zijn de bollen erg klein en nog kleiner als je kijkt naar de prijs (€ 1,90 per bol). Wat mij ook opviel bij het eten van het ijs zijn de ijskristalletjes die er in zitten. Oppassen dus dat je je tong niet openhaalt. Door al deze negatieve omstandigheden kan ik Marx O'Larry'sCastricum niet meer dan 2 sterren geven. Jammer! Maar niet getreurd gelukkig zit er in dezelfde straat wel nog een ijssalon genaam De Roset. Hun ijs is verrukkelijk en de bollen zijn fatsoenlijk groot met een prijs van € 1,20 per bol!

PS. Al de reviews van Marx O'Larry's moeten wel nep zijn, ik snap dus ook niet dat deze ijssalon een gemiddelde van 4,6...

An excellent place to stop for some sweets. The staff were extremely attentive. They have a small wooden railway for the kids and a few books etc to keep them entertained.
