Chopstix Sushi — Restaurant in Curaçao

The food was pretty good but service was atrocious. My friend and I ordered together, hers was a steak that came out pretty quickly but mine was a poke bowl that took later... then later... after 30 minutes and a few apologies I said to the waitress "no worries, comp us a round of drinks and we're good". After more than an hour I finally said let's cancel the poke bowl. This lit a fire and they finally delivered the poke as the restaurant was closing (we'd been there an hour and a half). We ate the cold steak and poke with the waitress nearly standing over us to remove items as soon as they were done. When they check came they'd charged us for the comp drinks and refused to remove them. The waitress did her best but where is management on a ticket like this? Service...

The last time I visited was 5 years ago, even then the food was okay. Revisited this time, not only did the quality of the food degraded but the service as well. We wanted to dine in, but the food took longer than 1,5hr to be served up to the point we asked to bag it for take away. While we were sitting and waiting for the food to be served the new waiter served us wrong drinks, wasn’t careful and shattered a glass on my partner. Of course accidents can happen and the waiter apologized. But when we asked to take away the food the main waitress still wanted to charge us service fee, even though we only received drinks. Largest sushi we've ever had, very tasty though. Really enjoyed the Curaçao Roll. Ordered some loaded Chicken Nachos as well, because why not? It looked amazing, very generous portions but it was completely underseasoned so had that sent back to the kitchen and a few minutes later we got a very offended chef at our table saying there's absolutely nothing wrong with the nachos.. Since we didn't come to discuss our palette we refused to take back the nachos and thankfully the rest of the staff was accommodating, respectful and very professional.
