Orient Express — Restaurant in Curaçao

Orient Express or known as Fusions Restaurant was not the best experience Host / wait to be seated (2)Not a very welcome feeling by the host. Drink order (2) It took a very long time for the drinks to be served, with the excuse we asked for fresh lemon juice so we had to wait. 😕 Food order (3) Took a extra very long time for food order to be taken by a another waiter. Food quality (5) Lack or to much salt. Receipt / paying (5)Took a while to receive the receipt and another 15 minutes to finally pay. Another table of 2 even left, after a very long wait for their order, and it was not even a busy hour. All by all not my best...

For what you get, Orient Express is one of Curaçao's most expensive takeaways. If you have their food served in the attached restaurant Fusions, it's of course even more expensive. But you can eat from the styrofoam bowls directly in front of the snack bar at tables and chairs. I don't recommend that though because the food isn't that flavorful. It's spicy, but with just a little salt, it tastes pretty bland. What is good is the boiled white rice and Naan, which is similar to chapatis, that accompanies each meal. We took our food home after trying it sitting out there, we seasoned it appropriately, and only then...

Ordered Malai Panneer.

Was charged in US$ instead of NAFL. The lady did refund the difference in NAFL.

Came back home to find Kadai Panneer in the box. Very disappointed.

Reached out via FB. They read the message. Did not respond even with a simple apology.
