McDonald's — Restaurant in Den Helder

Our visit to this McDonald's left much to be desired. Half the restaurant was closed, limiting seating options. The available sofas were in poor condition, with ripped holes and an uncomfortable stickiness. The tables also lacked cleanliness, requiring regular attention. The staff's unfamiliarity with the McDonald's app codes hindered our ability to avail discounts on specific items, reflecting a service gap.

Despite these drawbacks, the saving grace was the fresh and enjoyable french fries. Unfortunately, the vanilla milkshake left a bitter taste with hints of a cleaning product. We popped into McD's for a quick burger. To be honest I rarely go to McDonald's if I can help it, it's never appealed to me. However I ordered a big Mac, something I've not eaten for over a decade, much smaller than I remember. It wasn't bad, freshly made and topped off with a chocolate milkshake. I recently visited the McDonald’s in Den Helder, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Compared to McDonald’s in Poland, the food here feels bland and lacks character.
