Museum is outdated and not what I expected. For children there are many things to do. From a puzzle trip to a vr simulator it's all available but it's just not it.. redesign the second floor, create more workshops, make it more lively. Now there are 3 big cabins upstairs where you can watch movies that are barely used. Create some life saving workshops, let kids work with their hands.. tying knots or whatsoever. If you don't have enough space, open up the 3th floor and make a dedicated kids(jonge redders) area. Also a place to get a decent drink / sandwich...

With 3 different floors and the option to buy a ticket for a boat-ride its a museum that has a lot to offer, for young and for old. It offers virtual reality, lots of history of lifeboats and rescues, and a great experience in the wind turbine. There are other things to do such as trying the navigation games.
