Great atmosphere, service was as nice as you can expect to get when you don't speak Dutch, the food was barely edible unfortunately. We got the club sandwich with brown bread, a dry sandwich with toasted bread that was crumbly and so overdone. The carpaccio with egg, was 2 soggy pieces of bread covered with the meat, veggies and sauce topped with 2 cold Sunnyside eggs. We could barely cut through this dish the bread was so soggy and dense. The pumpkin soup was ok, although spicy. The steamed buns mix were just ok, the yakitori one was hardly edible. Overall, I'm sorry the food was so bad, we came here by recommendation of a Dutch friend, so maybe the Dutch think this is good. Ik had deze plek thuis al uitgezocht op basis van reviews. Dit moest wel goed zijn. Na een dag Zwolle en Deventer ontdekken had ik moeie voeten, enorme dorst en erge trek. Ik ging binnen zitten en kon meteen iets drinken bestellen. Daarna had ik wel trek gekregen en wilde vrij snel daarna iets bij de borrel bestellen. Een uur heb ik gewacht tot ik iets kon bestellen. Het lukte niet om de aandacht te trekken. Als ik naar de bar liep om te bestellen zei de dame: er komt zo iemand bij u. Not. En dat bleef helaas zo.

Gezien mijn moeie voeten en mijn goede boek dacht ik: jullie lopen omzet mis maar ik zit prima hier. Het idee om op te staan en iets anders te zoeken stond me niet aan. Ik was alleen en had hier een fijn tafeltje en ik had nog zulke zere voeten. Maar het was wel vervelend want ik had gewoon ook dorst.

Ik heb wel lekker gegeten maar ik voelde me niet erg welkom zeg maar. Jammer. Ik zal Zus...
