Hans & Grietje — Restaurant in Deventer

There are few things that made our experience not enjoyable at this place. First and foremost, when we entered and ordered, the waiter was not friendly, not properly listening to us, no smile, not welcoming at all. He came back with the orders and one was wrong and he forgot one. Another waitress came back with corrected orders and she threw a chocolate on table instead of just passing it. After drinks, we ordered this combination of fried snacks, which was quite pricy for the size, and less than the amount that was mentioned on the menu. And lastly, they still put the wrong drink that they brought for us in the receipt, and after payment when we asked for the money back, although they did it but their attitude was wrong, no saying sorry or anything. Great place to have dinner with a large group. Friendly staff, although they sometimes forgot drinks/cutlery for a few people. I ordered the "Duitse burger" the burger was juicy, the bread wasn't soggy and overall tasted good. Most meals come with added fries and salad. The fries were crispy, not burnt, the salad was fresh. The added sauce bottles seemed old/not clean, some of the bottles were stuck and couldn't be used, then again plenty other flavours were available.

A company is always as goods as its’ staff. Though I have been here multiple times, today I need mention that service level on a Friday at 1pm has been better. This is a tough one because we were serviced by three different people in staff. Where two are fairly okay, the other serving drinks, without saying too much displayed utter “could care less” attitude. I do hope management will work on this as good as possible, will make this place...
