Food is good. Service is bad.
We were tourists from outside the village and we ordered, paid and were heading to sit inside. They said no, take your food and eat it outside. There were available tables, but they said you ordered to go. I never ordered to go. They should have asked if i wanted to sit or take it to go.
I offered to PAY MORE just to sit inside, they said no your food is ready, take it outside.
During my queries to their odd and weird organization, they were ignoring me. Very very disrespectful from their side. They misrepresented their village and culture as a place of ignorance.
For the sake of debate, lets assume i was wrong (although i wasnt as they are the ones who NEVER EXPLAINED THEIR WEIRD RULES), why cant you be more understanding? More hospitable to tourists? We are PAYING CUSTOMERS, WE WERE NOT ASKING FOR GIFTS, and yet they were very disrespectful.
If they came to my country, i would have never shown them this bad behavior. But i guess thats the difference between cultures. Your gave me a bad picture of your culture.
My visit to that village was ruined because of this incident.
Note to owners: the old guy was rude, the young guys were a bit better. Do better, be better!!
I am a fair guy, food was good, but service was terrible,...

We ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 small fries, no bills, no waiting number. There is one person is in front to take the other. At that moment, it’s only a family of 4 and us. The fries come first, the guy who took the order, hold it up and called for it 2 times as large fries, and no one pick up. So I thought it was us and come for it on the 3rd call. The guy who took order saw me and gave it to me. So I thought it was correct.
Later on a young guy came and call for 2 sandwiches, i came to take and he asked me about the fries I took, that mine is small, why would I took the big one. I said sorry I didn’t know, he said, never mind, it’s not a problem anymore. The moment I turned away, he did the Thumbing on nose gesture, my sister saw it and told me later.
You can just ask nicely for customer to pay that extra if the wrong order affected you. Instead that you said it’s no longer a problem and make the disrespectful gesture. And also, maybe try to work on the order process to hand out the right order next time. Instead of letting 1 guy to remember it and let the other one giving the attitude to the customers when...
Read moreThe person who checks the website and/or social media should improve his/her way of working, definitely. I made a reservation 3 weeks ago through the website and I received an email with the cancellation of my reservation. I sent an email, explaining that we were only two people and we wanted to have a table: I didn't get any answer. As I understood that 3 weeks it was so early for a reservation, I waited and I made a new reservation two days before our trip. The website accepted it but I didn't receive any confirmation email. I called once and nobody replied. I send a DM on Instagram explaining the situation and nobody replied... So, the reservation was made, according to the web, but no email or answer was received. Today, I drove from Eindhoven to Volendam and when I told the waitress the story, she said there's no table reserved and we can wait 2 hours for an available one. The girl was nice, nothing to say, she was just doing what her superior says... But the person who is in charge of the website is doing a...
