Bufkes Trudoplein — Restaurant in Eindhoven

After long time I didn't see a friend, we want have a talk and drink something together. From outside the bar looked cleaned, the waitress was really kind. After a while she asked if we wanted have lunch there and we told "no"...but the sandwiches of the other ppl around they looked so good that I was changing idea...till another waitress came saying that they need the table. I worked in restaurants and bar in my life, I know how it works. So I pointed out that there were other free table there outside. She answered more unfriendly that the ppl don't want stay under the rain and the bar is not made to stay hours just for a glass of water (1 cappuccino, 1 espresso and 1 spa blaw). We went to pay inside, half tables were still free and after 10 minutes I passed by with my car and our table and the one nearby were still free. Zoveel haast...

The food is tasty and they had my order really fast. But when I wanted to ask a thing at the register, the woman almost screamed at me MOMENTJE (and I was even asking in Dutch). I understand they can be busy or understaffed but I think a bit of kindness would be nice when I’m literally giving you money. She could have expressed that I was interrupting her (sorry about that, I didn’t realise) in a kinder way other than almost screaming like that. It’s like people forget sometimes that without customers they wouldn’t have any profit. Because of these things I would think it twice about coming back. So next time you know, when ordering at this Bufkes, just stand still until they allow you to speak or you’ll be shut up by someone...

Ordered 2 "sandwitches" from this restaurant just 30mins ago. 1 of them - royal, another one - Veggie. Because it is covid time - we only can get it for takeout. Got our order back and went back home only to realise that they made a mistake and made 1 royal and another chicken/egg sandwitches. My fiancee was very dissapointed as she doesn't eat meat at all and she had to make another dish by herself afterwards...

I understand that it was just the mistake, but it gives some dissapointment for a person who doesnt eat meat.

Other than that the we ordered from there a few times before and the sandwitches are...
