First of all, the packaging is a nice introduction, pretty original, despite the heteronormative graphic. We ordered a pizza italiana and a saponara. What to say? The italiana didn’t have a strong chili spice, but it was also its strength. I can imagine that they originate from Dutch greenhouses. Anyways, the garnish was sufficient, my only concern would be the herbs, also found in the Saponata. It takes over the flavors of the rest of the pizza. We do understand the branding purpose of these herbs, however sometimes less is more. On the other hand, the Saponata was a very nice proposition however overshadowed by the amount of the onions. Amazing family place! Super good find in this area of the town! It is specialized in Italian dishes but you can rely on the chef to prepare great meat and fish. I was staying with few friends for a couple of nights in the town and we visited this place few times.

We tried different types of pizza and had ribeye and chicken breast.

The service is great and the chef is extremely friendly and chatty, just ask for tips and recommendations. While there we had the feeling that the chef was treating us as part of his family and you could tell that he is preparing the food with love and care.
