We paid 101 euros for 3 people and expected good quality food and drink, as one would. What we got was low quality, not fresh, and disappointing. A lot of it was stale and had obviously been sitting out a long time, the sushi was not good quality and didn't have a good taste or texture and there were very few vegetarian options.. only cucumber maki which was touching the raw fish rolls. Someone at our table had undercooked shrimps then no longer felt safe to eat other seafood, which is one of the reasons we came to the restaurant in the first place. The wine and beer was not easy to drink.. and we got headaches. It seemed like very cheap wine. Either it was extremely dry or extremely sweet. The beer tasted metallic. The stir fry station unfortunately is not at all suitable to vegetarians or (most likely) for people who can't have gluten. They cook everything together in a large pot of boiling water. So I made my plate of veggies and rice noodles and they literally put it in a pot of boiling water inside a net and had another net pressed against it that had beef cooking and touching my food. So cross contamination is not avoidable for stir fry if you aren't okay with meat and gluten touching your food. However, a lot of the food items out on the buffet do clearly label whether something is gluten free or not which is great. Especially do not come here if you are vegetarian and can't eat gluten because there won't be enough food to make a full meal and it won't be worth the price you pay. Absolute do not come here if you are vegan. And do not come here if you want the unlimited wine and beer but are sensitive to low quality alcohol. Unfortunately, I left feeling ripped off and don't plan on coming back. The only thing I really enjoyed was the unlimited Fuze tea of which...
Read moreThere is a man behind the till who is very unprofessional . I had a 4 year old boy in my hand trying to take him upstairs to the kids area where this man was screaming at me saying that I was not allowed to go there as a parent and said that I had to leave my kid walk up by his self . I turned a round and told him that I’m only going to take him there and come back down straight away but he wasn’t having it his reaction was he said that if I do that his going to call the police on me as I wasn’t listening to him as soon as he said that my 4 year old boy started crying saying dad I don’t want the police to come please he was scared I looked at him and said don’t say that because it’s nothing happening here daddy it’s ok but he was keep on crying and I told this man let me take my kid up there his only a child but he still didn’t allow me so I was really angry then but still kept calm for my kid . And just told my it’s ok daddy we’re going home now and I just left . Read moreWe visited Wiro Wok for a team dinner, and overall, the experience was mixed. The ambience felt quite basic, as the restaurant is housed in what seems to be an older building with dated furniture that doesn’t create the most inviting atmosphere. However, the friendly staff members helped make the visit more pleasant.
The food quality was decent, and the concept of having meals freshly prepared with ingredients of your choice is appealing. However, the overall dining experience felt lacking in refinement, so it’s best to manage expectations.
One significant disappointment was how the grill was managed. I personally avoid eating beef, so I requested the chef to ensure it wasn’t cooked closer to or overlapping with my lamb chops and pork ribs. Unfortunately, my request was ignored, and seeing items like beef directly over lamb chops or pork ribs was disheartening. While cooking on the same grill is understandable, greater care in handling dietary preferences would have been appreciated.
Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant has potential with its variety of fresh ingredients and interactive cooking concept. However, improving attention to customer preferences and food handling practices would go a long way in enhancing...
