We had high hopes for this place. We made an early reservation and the place was nearly empty when we arrived. We were seated at the worst table in the place, right next to the door so we had guests entering and waiting next to our table. Because the opening of the door let some fresh air in and the place was so warm, we decided not to ask to be moved. We assumed that the place would fill up during our meal so that is why they placed us there, but the place was half empty when we left 90 minutes later.
We ordered appetizers and a main course. The server asked us to let the staff know when we wanted our mains once we got the starters. Our meals arrived while we were still working on the starters and the server seemed clueless at our surprise. She just pushed the plates onto the table to move our appetizers away. Very strange.
The appetizers did not seem homemade to me. The hummus was way way too smooth and was very plain tasting. The grape leaves tasted like they were expired. They had some weird aftertaste. Nothing like I’d ever had before.
The lamb chops were rare instead of medium, with one even showing blood near the bone. Taste was ok, nothing special. The fried cauliflower was uninteresting. Typical uninspired vegetarian option that I have experienced far too often in the Netherlands. I read in the paper that they had a great vegetarian menu. Well that is not the case.
All in all, a disappointment. We will not...
Read moreWe were celebrating our party. Evryting was awful. They brought starters and we asked brought drinks. We ordered beer and wine.We were waiting 40 min.and it wasn't done. We ordered again drinks.
1.I ordered German beer 🍺 and wine. First waitress told they have Germany beer the second waitress said they didn't have. So we ordered two sparkling wine The second waitress brought regular sweet wine. we made a remark that they brought us not what we ordered, but we ordered sparkling wine.
the waiter took this order and brought us wine to which they simply added sparkling water and an ice cube. I went to find out, but it turned out that they don’t understand what we’re talking about, they don’t understand English.
I don’t understand why I order sparkling wine, they serve me wine with sparkling water, do they really think that I don’t understand the difference, why should I pay for this lame glass of wine?
when I went to look at the bar, I saw that they had German beer. The question arises: why is there a waiter who doesn’t know what they sell in the restaurant?
also the meat was not the most delicious. All the salads were sour, as there was lemon and vinegar. If you want celebrate and have fun I don't recommend...
Read moreFor the dinner following my PhD defense, I reserved a table for 41 guests. Organizing such a large event was no small task, but thanks to Lisa’s dedication and constant support, everything went smoothly. She responded quickly to every request and guided me through the entire process with remarkable professionalism.
I chose the "Ksara special menu" for the group, which allowed each guest to select between meat, fish (i.e., seafood), vegetarian, or vegan courses. Lisa and the entire Ksara team accommodated every wish with great care, ensuring that all guests felt well looked after. The food was excellent, and I received nothing but enthusiastic and positive feedback from everyone.
This evening was truly memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to Lisa and the whole Ksara team for making it such a...
