Turtles Pizza — Restaurant in Enschede

We ordered around 7 pizza's and 9 pasta's at the turtles pizza, and we wanted it to be delivered at 18:00. However, at 18:15 we still hadn't received our order, therefore, we called with the Turtles pizza. They told us that they were quite busy and would deliver our order at 19:00. I told them that was the latest option for us, as we needed to go to an activity at 19:30. At 19:05 our order still wasn't there, so we called them again. They promised us to deliver our order at 19:30, and at 19:45 we finally received our pizza's and pasta's. However, the delivery was incomplete, we missed 1 pizza and 4 pasta's. Two pasta's were delivered at a later time. The next day we called the Turtles Pizza again, but the only thing he wanted to do was to compensate the money from the pizza and pasta's we did not received, and we could get a discount with our next order (€6,- instead of €6,50). After making such a big mistake with an order I found the discount insufficient, as a few of us had to go to the activity without food. The pizza's were good, the pasta's weren't that good actually (lots of greasy sauce with not that many ingredients), the service was terrible. The pizza was mediocre, almost cold, and with very dry edges. We waited for 1 pizza + fries for around 45 min. and paid more than the chain pizza restaurants, of course. But the taste was not significantly better than the "cheap" pizzas. The fries were also very disappointing. I am not super picky about any potatoe-containing dishes, especially for fries. However, these fries tasted like they were fried twice and kept in the oil for hours. Overall, not...

We hebben een tijdje moeten wachten in verband met de drukte. Het was vandaag (24-11) 'Black Friday', ik denk dat dit er mee te maken heeft gehad.

Maar het was het wachten waard. De bezorger heeft ons zijn excuses aangeboden en ons gratis frisdrank gegeven ter compensatie.

Turtles Pizza is in mijn ogen nog steeds een van de beste pizza ketens in Enschede, vanwege de volgende redenen;

Veel aandacht per pizza besteed. En dit proef je. Ze smaken veel beter dan bijvoorbeeld een Domino's pizza, of een New York pizza.

Minimale besteding van 6,50 euro. Je zou dus één pizza kunnen bestellen en dan wordt het ook bezorgd. Bij Domino's is het 7.95 euro. Ik kan me een tijd herinneren waarin het 10,00 euro was. Ik hoop dat Turtles het zo houdt.

Los staand van dit incident zijn ze altijd netjes op tijd, en smaakt de pizza altijd goed.
