We popped into Marcus to get out of the rain and are so glad we did! My daughter saw the swinging chairs through the window and thought it must be a cool place. We ordered a Golden Milk Latte with almond milk (they also had oat and one other plant-based milk) and a Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. We sat in the window with a beautiful view of the plaza. The owner came over to chat with us, learned we have been traveling for 3 weeks from the USA, and brought us pie. We explained that we are gluten free. He said his parents are originally from Morocco so they try to use no wheat and very, very little sugar, which is perfect for us. They make the pies fresh every morning. Marcus was hip and used healthy ingredients. We felt extremely welcome there. It would definitely become our neighborhood haunt if we lived...

It’s about time to leave a review of this place as I’ve been visiting so much that I can say this is my favourite cafe in all of Zeeland, the staff is always very kind and attentive, they offer a variety of delicious cakes; savory meals (recommend the spicy chicken sandwich) and beverages. I have tried their matcha, cappuccino and latte macchiato which were all great quality. The interior of the place is very warm and relaxing, with traditional elements that make you teleport to Marrakesh. All of this is great, however what I value the most about this place and what sets it apart from the rest in my eyes is that I never felt pressured as a solo guest that needs to get some reading done but I also notice a lot of guests with children and dogs coming so it truly feels like everyone...

Onlangs had ik de gelegenheid om Marcus Coffee, Tea Blends & Lifestyle in Vlissingen te bezoeken, en het was een fantastische ervaring. Vanaf het moment dat ik binnenkwam, werd ik verwelkomd door de warme, gezellige sfeer die het café uitstraalt. Het interieur is een mooie mix van modern en klassiek, waardoor het de perfecte plek is om even te ontspannen en te genieten van een goed kopje koffie of thee.

De selectie aan koffies en theesoorten is indrukwekkend. Of je nu van een sterke espresso houdt of meer in de stemming bent voor een rustgevende kruidenthee, Marcus heeft voor ieder wat wils. Ik koos zelf voor een koffie, en de smaak was absoluut heerlijk - perfect gebalanceerd met een romige schuimlaag. De barista's zijn duidelijk gepassioneerd over hun vak en nemen de tijd om je bestelling precies naar wens te maken.

Wat deze plek extra bijzonder maakt, is het aanbod van lifestyle producten die je kunt kopen. Van fijne theemengsels en bijzondere koffiesoorten tot leuke cadeauartikelen en accessoires – het is een winkel waar je altijd wel iets leuks vindt om mee naar huis te nemen.

De service was ook top. Het personeel is vriendelijk, deskundig en staat altijd klaar om advies te geven over de verschillende dranken en producten. Het voelde echt als een persoonlijke ervaring.
