Restaurant Therapy — Restaurant in Gooise Meren

Last night I spent dinner there with my inlaws and we chose the 5 course option. The ladies from service were very caring, asked frequently for drink top-up, also took the time for a little wine tasting. What I admired the most: they managed to serve us eight always at the same time. The food was very delicious, though the portion seemed to be quite small, after the whole dinner it was obvious they were the right size. Also the fish quality was top. Moreover the ambience was nice and clean, the only point I have is sitting a high table on a high chair was a bit uncomfortable for such a long time. Food is good but service was bad. Had to wait 2 hours to be served 3 consecutive small dishes. I asked the waitress twice on what’s the hold, first time she said kitchen is busy, second time she said that this normal waiting time between dishes because it is luxurious dinning. I am not really happy with the answer on both occasions because it was Tuesday and not busy and I have been to Michelin luxury dinning and you don’t get to decide for me the waiting time between dishes. Een tijdje terug hier gegeten. Wat een verrukking! De gerechten zijn iets kleiner dan een normaal gerecht, maar juist daardoor kan je er meer van proeven. Elk gerecht is weer mooi opgemaakt en oh zo smaakvol! De ambiance is gezellig en de eigenaresse kent haar wijnen en weet bij elk gerecht een lekkere wijn te toveren. De schilderijen die hier hangen maken het plaatje helemaal af. Wat een mooie stijl, rustgevend en toch opvallend. Wij zaten onder het schilderij Dive into the unconscious en deze sprak me gelijk aan, de heldere kleuren en het goud springen eruit, je blijft ernaar kijken. Heb gelijk ook de site van de kunstenares opgezocht en ga zeker sparen, ooit hangt er een schilderij van haar bij mij aan de muur. Maar eerst nog maar genieten van haar Kunst bij Therapy naast een heerlijke maaltijd...
