Boulevard — Restaurant in Gorinchem

Me, My GF and my father went to this place for a drink. Me & My GF took a Cola, and my father took a wine. The wine was REALLY bad, he told me it tasted like a €2,- wine from the supermarket.

Me and my GF took an Sundae.. this ice cream was really good.

We were sitting inside, but i noticed there was a empty table outside, so we moved outside. I went to a employee and told them we were moving outside.

We 3 all ordered a sandwich and this tasted really good. Nothing special but it tasted good.

My father was really disappointed with the wine, so we told the employee it was really bad, and she seemed really irritated. With a lot of talking we got a free Coffee.. well, okay. Wine problem compensated :D

But.. the coffee was really cold... tasted okay, but also disappointed.. so we went to the inside to check out, but they tried to let us pay for the coffee non or the less, so we told them no you promised the coffee for free.. After a few minutes arguing with a co-worker it was okay.

Conclusion: Good food, Good view, Terrible Workers And TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Won't visit again sadly.. :(

We came here 8 days ago after we unhappily found out there was no reception in the Karel de Stoute hotel nearby. It is a family restaurant giving you such a welcome feeling and all information about the area. The food is absolutely top quality and tasty! Fries are even better than some in our own Belgian french fries resto´s. And I recommend breakfast! We decided not to spend any money in the hotel because of their tirer-votre-plan attitude and ordered breakfast here...it was absolutely fresh..well chosen products and again such welcome feeling. Ik reageer even op het weigeren van een extra frietbakje (a 5 cent) voor mijn autistische zoon met een verstandelijke beperking en ! diabetis 1. Vanwege deze handvatten van onze zoon moet ! Ik als zorgverlener van Tommie de friet wegen zonder speciaal etc (koolhydraten). Dit alles om zijn bloedsuikers goed te regelen . Dus word er vriendelijk gevraagd de friet en de (speciaal) te scheiden.

Als dit weigert bedrijf ook na het melden van de beperkingen van mijn zoon zegt mij dit voldoende over deze friet tent.

De woorden/ruzie/melding op hoge toon want zelf ook Diabetis 2 (!) / kan allemaal niet / en de vermelding van een klaarblijkelijk erg lokale friet bakjes schaarste, stuit me echt tegen het hoofd. De woorden stonden in schril contrast tegen de rust aan mijn zijde. Mensen achter ons spraken er ook schande van de gezette toon.

Uiteindelijk gaat men akkoord met mijn tegenbod om het bakje extra in rekening te brengen.

Deze review gaat dus niet over het eten, en het bedrijf, maar wel over menselijkheid.

Wat kost een beetje begrip tegenwoordig ? Astrid / moeder en zorg...
