Nice staff and cosy atmosphere. We ordered 3 pizzas. Sadly they all came in-sliced and they where VERY hard to slice. One of them was very dry and the bottom and edges dark/burned. The other two tasted really good- but the olives where with stones - hard to sit and pick out when eating pizza. So - ok meal - with some small hiccups.

The (calzone) pizza was expensive and not at all special, the ingredients were poorly spread out not to mention sparse, they also put Spanish pepper slivers in the pizza instead of actual Spanish peppers with means it was not spicy at all. The crust and bottom was doughy to top it off not to mention too much.

Great service despite us being at an outside table in a downpour! The grilled veggies were ok, the whitefish was ok, the spinach ravioli had a good spinach flavor. I'd recommend sitting inside as the street traffic was quite loud and distracting.

Adding a comment to my previous review below. I've just been charged a euro for a 'doggie bag'. What's a euro? Principle!!! Spent +€50pp so charging to take a few slices of pizza home is cheap. Very disappointed. Still enjoyed the evening, loved the pizza, great service.... just never been charged to take leftovers home in any restaurant anywhere in the world before. Real shame.

Surprisingly great evening in this Italian managed high street restaurant. The service totally wins the day. The waitress who served our table was absolutely friendly & great. Pizza bases were a little bland, disappointing if the chef's Italian. And the anti-pasta lacked variety. Some cheese varieties, perhaps a little tomato & roasted veggies would've taken it to a 5-star experience. Definitely will make this a regular...

Wij wilden even snel wat eten, kwamen om 17.00 uur binnen, gelijk besteld en kregen half uur later pas ons eten. Nu is dat niet zo erg, maar de kwaliteit van het vlees is echt ver beneden de maat. Ik had varkenshaas met spek, mozarella en een tomaten-room saus. Smaak was prima, maar de varkenshaas stukjes (2) waren net zo dun als een schnitzel en veel te lang gebakken dus super droog. Partner had ossenhaas van de gril, was goed gegrild, maar super taai. Ossenhaas hoort erg mals te zijn, maar zelfs met een steakmes was het echt zagen om er doorheen te komen. Daarnaast een kleine irritatie omdat je verplicht bent om iets te drinken te nemen. Als een gast niets wil drinken komt het toch op de rekening te staan, wat wij heel gek vonden. Verder vroeg niemand van de bediening, niet tijdens het eten en ook niet bij het afrekenen of alles naar wens was. Kortom: eens maar nooit weer. Snap niet dat dit zulke goede reviews krijgt en het er zo druk is. Waited for 50 or min or more on a Tuesday which is a slow day. Chicken ricotta.., chicken was pink, ricotta was missing from this plate, cooker scream and verbally aggressive. They still charged for for the bread and butter . Careless about the bad service . Avoid this place please . Is not my fist time but it will be my last one...
