Read moreThe place has a limited menu with some good tasty dishes. Below is the review of the items we tried ( not quite remember the exact name as per menu) Pani Puri - tasty but the size of the Puri is too small, like those round white mints. Basket chat - quite tasteful but still very less quantity, and expensive Masal Pav - the only item on the menu that do justice to the expected quantity and was also yummy. Veg Spice gravy - Good and different than what we get in Indian restaurants in Amsterdam Black dal - really nice taste, it would have been better if could lemon on the side which not available during our visit Sizzling brownie with ice cream - I have been looking for this in many places and finally found it here and was happy that it didn't disappointed me. One should try these if here. Bottled water - 7eur/ bottle , being Indian I cannot imagine to spend this much on water. Please carry your own.
Overall the food served here is tasty but too costly for its quantity. The presentation of the dishes is really nice and makes you more hungry, but the prices makes you think again before ordering. Ambiance during our was bit dim and dull.
The hosts were very friendly and humble and hospitality...

The chef and the owner are right, eating at sugar and spice is a journey, and you are sure to leave with a full stomach and a big smile on your face. A pleasure for the head, the mouth, the senses, the stomach and the heart.
Everything was amazing from the street food starters to the final curry, but, please, if you drink alcohol have a sip of the rose and spices cocktail. it comes on a shot glass but you spit it throughout your meal and it's simply the best thing.
Now I want to learn more about the spice...
